The Alarm Bells are Sounding A Call to Arms People

The Freedom and Liberty against Tyranny of Corruption and Despotism alarm bells are sounding loud and clear..  Will you not take up arms against it, and defend your Country,  your Constitution, and your Rights, Freedoms, and Liberties, and those of your future generations.

Our Elective Despotism
by Lawrence Sellin January 31, 2012

There are many things obvious to ordinary Americans that cannot be mentioned publicly in the polite political company of the Republican and Democratic establishments or among their press agents in the mainstream media, who obligingly pirouette around the truth.

For example, both the Republican and Democratic establishments are composed of hopelessly corrupt, procrastinating control freaks, who seek fame and fortune through over-spending money they didn't earn and enthusiastically crushing any spontaneous outbreaks of democracy among U.S. citizens, for example, the Tea Party.

Thomas Jefferson warned us of the danger of "elective despotism:"

"They should look forward to a time, and that not a distant one, when a corruption in this, as in the country from which we derive our origin, will have seized the heads of government, and be spread by them through the body of the people; when they will purchase the voices of the people, and make them pay the price. Human nature is the same on every side of the Atlantic, and will be alike influenced by the same causes. The time to guard against corruption and tyranny, is before they shall have gotten hold of us. It is better to keep the wolf out of the fold, than to trust to drawing his teeth and talons after he shall have entered."

Unfortunately, the wolf is already in the fold.

Taking the rhetoric up a notch from Jefferson, Israeli historian J. L. Talmon coined the term "totalitarian democracy," a political system in which lawfully elected representatives rule a nation state whose citizens, although granted the right to vote, have little or no participation in the decision-making process of government.

If you do not think the United States has become an elective despotism, think again.

One of the most honest and courageous members of Congress in decades, Rep. Allen West (R-FL), is about to become a sacrificial lamb of the collusion between the Republican and Democratic establishments in the state of Florida.

And what is West's crime? He is an independent thinker and a rising star of the Tea Party movement.

The Republican establishment hates the Tea Party because it has the audacity to suggest that American citizens should have a voice in their government.

Led by Mitt Romney's spokesman, Representative Will Weatherford, the Republican legislature in Florida is about to push through a re-districting plan, which would redraw the boundaries of Allen West's 22nd Congressional District to include far more registered Democrats and put West at an even larger disadvantage than he was previously.

Under elective despotism, the government is transformed from one based on traditional values, articles of faith and the support of individual liberty into one in which social utility and political expediency take absolute precedence.

Having no allegiance to the principles upon which America was founded, Barack Obama, aided and abetted by the political establishments and the mainstream media, is in the process of dismantling our Constitution and fulfilling his promise to radically transform the country.

In his State of the Union address, President Obama did not present a plan for restoring America, he left a suicide note.  Obama, the Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media are in the final stages of a self-destruct sequence, while the Republican establishment passively sits by America's deathbed watching President Kevorkian deliver the poison.

Mitt Romney, the chosen one intended to bring balance to the Republican Force, touts his business experience as a credential for the presidency. Unfortunately, political, not business decisions are made in Washington, D.C., and those decisions are no longer constrained by the Constitution and the rule of law.

It is corruption of our political system, not just financial corruption that is the single, most important issue of the 2012 election.

The arrogance of political establishment has only gotten more brazen since 1993, when Lewis H. Lapham ("A Wish for Kings") wrote:

"The politicians dress up the deals in the language of law or policy, but they're in the business of brokering the tax revenue, and what keeps them in office is not their talent for oratory but their skill at redistributing the national income in a way that rewards their clients, patrons, friends and campaign contributors."

Examples of the corrupt status quo:

- More than 50 percent of the members of the U.S. Congress are millionaires.

- The median wealth of a U.S. Senator in 2009 was 2.38 million dollars.

- Insider trading is legal for members of the U.S. Congress -- and they refuse to pass a law that would change that.

- The percentage of millionaires in Congress is more than 50 times higher than the percentage of millionaires in the general population.

Regarding the crisis of our current national debt, put simply, unconstrained spending by the government is the product of unconstrained corruption in the government.

Here is another political heresy: the emperor has no college records.

Yes, I have the temerity to believe that Barack Hussein Obama should be thoroughly vetted before the 2012 election.

We know far more details about Gingrich's marriages, Romney's mutual funds, Paul's prehistoric newsletters and the voting block made up of Santorum's children than a bare minimum of facts that we need to know about the current Occupier of the Oval Office.

The time has come for the American people to commit political blasphemy by showing a healthy irreverence towards the political establishment and the status quo.

"Cowardice asks the question 'Is it safe?'  Expediency asks the question 'Is it politic?'  But conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?'  And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but because conscience tells one it is right."-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. -unquote

The Romney Tragedy, is an American Tragedy

In the American Spectator is an article called- "Romney explains why he can't beat Obama", by David Catron, 30 Jan. 2012.

Remember the last Florida debate, where Rick Santorum shredded Romney and his Romneycare to pieces, where Romney's only defense of Romneycare was, quote- "it's not worth getting angry about."

It is worth getting angry about, as Rick Santorum said- We must not give this issue away to Obama..  as it is not just about the Nominee, but about Freedom and Liberty of the American people, which are affected by the decisions that these elected representatives, reflect and act in accordance with the wishes of the "Will of the Majority" of the American People, and not to their own ideological self-serving interests.

Quote- “Newt SuperPac Advisor Claims Romney Campaign Pumped $15 Mil Into Florida”-

The message is loud and clear.. Romney and his GOP establishment and corporate banking and investment firm Goldman Sachs backers are saying- “We can buy this Primary election and the US Presidency, and that’s exactly what we are doing”..

If Romney were to be the Nominee, he, as well as Obama, would be laughing so hard inside themselves, as to the ridiculously absurd amount of ease it is to fool these American voting people with their lies and incessant flip-flopping stands on vitally important issues, that to them matters not..  Which doesn't bode well for the American electorate, Primary or General as a whole..

This is the tragedy of what might happen, if Romney and the GOP RINO establishment, is allowed to buy this election. What this says is that powerful people and their establishment money, can buy the votes and minds of the American people, instead of facts and truth. This is the truly sad state of the American electorate, thus an American tragedy .

WAR - A Call To ARMS

War has not only been declared against Newt, by the GOP Republican Party RINO establishment, but they have also declared and are waging an all out war against the Tea Party movement, people, and all elected politicians, especially in Florida where they have made a concerted conspiratorial effect to oust Rep. Col. Allen West, by redistricting him out of conservative areas, which already has be done by a Romney aide..

Make no mistake about it, they are waging an all out war to destroy all the Reagan Tea Party Constitutional Conservatives from power and influence..  which is why we must not fail meet them head on, to get out the vote and message to all Patriotic Americans, all over the nation, but especially in Florida, as it is now ground zero in this fight to save America, and Reagan Conservatism.

Quote-

"While Newt has been a part of the Washington scene for some time, he always has been the outsider challenging the establishment and insisting on reforms and transformation. He has been vilified, targeted with ethics complaints, subjected to lies and mythology. Millions of dollars have been spent on attacks against him. And he’s still standing, offering America the kind of ideas and leadership it needs in the 21st century.

It boils down to this: Newt Gingrich is a conservative; the establishment prefers moderates. Newt prefers to stand up and debate conservative ideas and ideals; the establishment prefers to keep people guessing. Newt is a proven leader, someone with the background, understanding, vision and discipline to be our president; the establishment fears that he just might win.”

Gingrich, like Goldwater and Reagan, is running as a strongly populist outsider.

Conservative outsiders never trust the GOP insiders. Sometimes they tolerate them – but, right now, they despise them. In cases where this happened before — California in 1964, North Carolina in 1976 and New Hampshire in 1980 — —it became a badge of honor to vote against the GOP establishment.

In each case, history was made, just as it was made once again Saturday in South Carolina.

No one goes around calling themselves a Nixon Republican or a Ford Republican or a Bush Republican. But plenty now proudly call themselves Goldwater Republicans and Reagan Republicans." - unquote

We, the Reagan Conservative Tea Party folks, will not,  and must never capitulate to them, and give up this great Nation to a bunch of low life colluding liberal RINO scum, so they can continue to live a life of minority party luxury, in their so called compromised negotiations with the anti-American liberal Obamacrats, every step of the way. !!

The Real Romney Emerges, Again, and He Is Not Pretty

The more Romney is vetted and investigated, the more he is exposed,  and more is uncovered and discovered, which Romney either destroyed, like with his e-mails as Gov of Mass, or hid,  and when confronted on, uses his standard plausible deniability excuse, to brush them aside..

Here's the real Romney, a lying, greedy, corrupt, self-serving Bain Capital CEO, who used companies and people for his own personal financial profits. In essence, he was the Gordon Gekko of Wall Street.

Here's a factual excerpt quote from this article..

"Romney's Bain Controlled Company Linked to Medicare Fraud"
Friday, 27 Jan 2012, by Dave Eberhart -

quote- "Under Romney’s “supervision,” Bain purchased and ran the Damon Corporation, which pled guilty to Federal conspiracy charges -- as a result of tens of millions of dollars in systemic Medicare fraud.

When the dust settled after a consuming federal investigation, Damon was fined over $119-million, which was, at the time, the largest criminal healthcare fine in Massachusetts history.

Romney’s participation was characterized in 1996 by Corporate Crime Reporter: “As manager and board member of Damon Corp, Mitt Romney sits at the center of one of the top 15 corporate crimes of the 1990’s.”

While the medical testing company went bankrupt, with thousands losing their jobs, Bain Capital captured a $12 million profit— over $450,000 of that money going to Romney personally.  -unquote

Here's another factual article excerpt quote-

"Romney Backed by Goldman Sachs, Bailout Banks"
Friday, 27 Jan 2012 - by Andrew Henry

The top donor to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, investment banking and securities firm Goldman Sachs, received over $10 billion in emergency lending and bailouts from the Federal Reserve after the 2008 financial meltdown, according to public sources and published reports.

Goldman backed Obama for election in 2008, and the firm, like many Wall Street institutions, is now backing Mitt Romney for president.
Romney has long had a close relationship with Goldman Sachs. In 1999 Romney purchased initial IPO shares in Goldman that netted him $1.1 million in profits when he sold them in 2010. And The New York Times recently reported that “many of the assets in Romney’s blind trust” are
managed by Goldman.

Today, Goldman is Romney’s largest donor. And nine of Romney’s top 20 campaign contributors are big Wall Street Banks like Goldman. But Goldman leads all Romney contributors, having donated $367,200 to his campaign, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. And six of those nine top contributors received over $161 billion in taxpayer bailouts, reports ProPublica, the independent, Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative organization.

Romney’s ties to Goldman have already become a campaign issue. During Thursday’s CNN debate, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich stated that Romney profited from millions he invested in a Goldman Sachs fund that relied heavily on investments in the mortgage-backed securities linked to the 2008 implosion on Wall Street. Romney said he personally didn’t direct the investment, which he said was made through his trust."  - unquote

But here's Romney contradicting himself on Blind Trusts, let alone his own Blind Trusts-

"Mitt Romney Contradicts Himself on Blind Trust"
by ConservativeByte.com, 26 Jan. 2012

quote- "Mitt Romney, in 1994, said ‘The blind trust is an age-old ruse. You give a blind trust rules. You can say to a blind trust, don’t invest in properties which would be in conflict of interest or where the seller might think they’re going to get an advantage from me.’ ” [Boston Globe, 10/19/1994] and “‘It’s a conflict of interest pure and simple – and it’s wrong for a U.S. senator,’ said Romney. ‘The fact that it’s a blind trust does not hide it.’ [Boston Herald. 10/19/1994] and “‘A United States senator has an obligation to tell its blind trust what it cannot and can invest in,’ Romney said.” [The Associated Press, October 18, 1994].

But, when confronted in August of 2007 about his investments in embryonic stem cell research and his significant stake in Iranian oil and gas interests, he said, “I did not direct any of my investments nor did I know of those investments,” [Washington Post, 8/15/2007] and “The trustee of the blind trust has said publicly that he will endeavor to make my investments conform to my positions and I have confidence that he will do that well,” [The Associated Press, 8/15/2007].

Romney calls frequently on state pensions to divest from Iran. His personal financial disclosure, however, reveals that he has up to $250,000 invested in Gazprom and $100,000 invested in Sinopec, both of which conduct multi-billion dollar oils deals with Iran."  -unquote

The Anti-Conservative War by the GOP RINO Establishment against Newt and Reagan Conservatism

The liberal Republican RINO Party Establishment, have openly exposed themselves, and has thus openly declared themselves the most repulsive repugnant and vile Anti-Reagan Conservative RINO scum, in the history of the American politics and the Republican Party.

Their vile hostile attacks against Newt, with the most blatant lies and propagandist smears, all over the media outlets, via TV, newspaper print, internet, etc, that has ever been done to a politician, since Barry Goldwater in 1960 and 1964, then Ronald Reagan in both 1976, then 1980.. where they, the Rockefeller-Nixon-Ford-Bush Republican Party RINO elitist establishment, has a long history of hypocrisy and permanent political class entrenched arrogant elitism, about being an opposition political  party to the liberal Democrats.

Why..  because the entrenched GOP Republican Party establishment elitists are actually just in collusional cooperation with liberal Democrats, in a mutually agreed power sharing agreement between each other, to control and maintain their self-proclaimed elitist privileged power in Washington DC.

And to ensure the status quo stays as is, they do this by attacking Constitutional Conservatives, like and more specifically the Barry Goldwater,  Ronald Reagan, Jack Kemp, and now Newt Gingrich conservative Republican politicians who seek the U.S. Presidency, who do not tolerate, and will not allow, their unethical greedy political corruption, with their liberal agenda of borrowing and spending on massive govt. programs, while they gut the U.S. Military and it's budget, sacrificing  U.S. National Security, which the Goldwater-Reagan-Kemp-Newt conservatives will root them out from within the govt.  They don't like that..  well that's too bad..

Honesty and Integrity in Washington DC politics, have gone from bad to worse, and only real Goldwater-Reagan Conservatives like Newt can put the American people back in power at America's helm.

This is article speaks and gives factual historical insight to what I said-

"Gingrich: The Rise of the Hoi Polloi"  by Craig Shirley, January 23, 2012

How big?

It is hard to over-estimate the importance of the South Carolina Republican primary. It was the second earthquake to hit the East Coast within the last six months — but this one could have far greater aftershocks.

The epicenter is the Republican Party. With its future now radically altered, it could have profound implications for the nation.

This could rank with California in 1964, North Carolina in 1976 and New Hampshire in 1980. Barry M. Goldwater in the Golden State, Ronald Reagan in the Tar Heel State and Reagan, again, in the Granite State, all ran as insurgents at crucial times for the GOP. All won major victories over moderate opponents, changing the party’s future — and the nation’s.

At the Republican convention in 1960, Goldwater was not happy with Richard M. Nixon’s nomination. The Arizona senator stormed at conservatives to “grow up,” stop complaining and get to work to take over the party.

Four years later, they did. Goldwater had been deeply concerned about the then-vice president’s recent concessions to New York Gov. Nelson A. Rockefeller. Goldwater felt that “Tricky Dick” had displayed weakness by going to New York essentially to kiss the ring of the leading GOP moderate. It was dubbed the “5th Avenue Compact.” But Goldwater acidly labeled it, “Munich of 5th Avenue.”

This indeed undermined Nixon’s presidential effort. Some staunch conservatives, who might once have favored the longtime red-basher Nixon, decided to support Democrat John F. Kennedy instead — because he portrayed himself as more anti-communist.

When Goldwater ran in 1964, the nomination race came down to the key California primary against Rockefeller. Rocky had money and California’s cosmopolitan culture on his side. He had the TV networks and the newspapers. He didn’t, however, have the voters. Goldwater won a stunning victory that propelling him to a win on the first convention ballot.

By 1968, Nixon had learned his lesson. He had also convinced leading conservatives, including William F. Buckley, to support him over then-Gov. Ronald Reagan. But Nixon’s White House years helped convince conservatives not the trust the GOP establishment — and establishment supplicants like Nixon.

In 1976, Gerald R. Ford, advised by Henry Kissinger, Donald Rumsfeld and others, pursued Nixon’s liberal policies. He seemed to almost push Reagan into challenging him in the primaries, hurling personal insults at the Gipper.

Reagan lost the first five primaries. By North Carolina, he was $2 million in debt, reeling and opposed by virtually everyone in the GOP establishment. And I mean everybody.

In Raleigh, N.C., Reagan received a telegram signed by numerous GOP officials, telling him to get out of the race. Paul Laxalt was with him and Reagan exploded, telling Laxalt that the Republicans who signed the missive “could go [do something to] themselves,” according to Laxalt.

Reagan did not withdraw. Instead, he mauled Ford there — winning more than 53 percent against the incumbent president. It was in North Carolina that the Reagan whom Americans would come to know and love stepped forward. He ran a populist insurgent campaign against the establishment Ford & Co.

The win stunned the country and changed the future for the party.

The 1980 New Hampshire primary is also a storied race. Reagan issued his famous line, “I am paying for this microphone.” But the really stunning moment was when he crushed George H.W. Bush by 27 percent. This big win
changed the future for the GOP.

The Palmetto State primary on Saturday was no less stunning. Though some of the elites insist Gingrich is an insider, he has never been considered one by outsiders. He always challenged conventions and threatened the status quo. He has run an insurgent campaign — eschewing elites, raising the rhetoric and storming the country club.

His South Carolina strategy was broad, wide and deep. Gingrich defeated the elites’ arguments by capturing the votes of Republicans who decided he had a better shot than Romney at defeating Obama. Gingrich won pluralities of all women — laying to rest the argument that he can’t appeal to them.

On primary day, I traveled with Gingrich as he met with hundreds of voters. None of these voters seemed to pay any mind to the Washington know-it-alls. If they did – it was to show them their backside.

Romney’s very persona helps Gingrich. The former Bain Capital chief is the elitist heir to Rockefeller and the malapropistic heir to Ford and George H. W. Bush. Watching Ford speak extemporaneously was like watching a drunk cross an icy parking lot — and the same can be said for the exuberantly monosyllabic man from Massachusetts.

Gingrich, like Goldwater and Reagan, is running as a strongly populist outsider. His future is still unclear, however.
Insiders insist the former speaker lacks discipline. But they always come up with a world view based on their own expense-account perceptions.

After all, how could a former grade B actor with premature orange hair (as Ford once described Reagan) have become one of the greatest U.S. presidents?

On the other side, conservative outsiders never trust the GOP insiders.

But plenty now proudly call themselves Goldwater Republicans and Reagan Republicans.

Maybe some conservatives will one day be calling themselves “Gingrich Republicans.”

The Betrayal of Tea Party Politicians

Marco Rubio stated, quote-  “Mitt Romney is no Charlie Crist,” Rubio said in response. “Romney is a conservative, and he was one of the first national Republican leaders to endorse me. He came to Florida, campaigned hard for me, and made a real difference in my race.” unquote-

Now, why would Marco Rubio, a Tea Party conservative politician, back a liberal Republican Party RINO elitist like Romney, whose record is one of furthering the liberal agenda, especially Romneycare, forced mandated inferior substandard State Socialized medicine program, that is bankrupting the State and people of Mass, over a Reagan conservative like Newt, who accomplished more for the nation in challenging the status quo, and the RINO permanent political class in Washington DC, not to mention a liberal Bill Clinton agenda, and balanced the US Federal Budget, forced Clinton to reformed welfare, cut spending and lowered taxes, that helped to created millions of jobs, and so on..

That’s the question..  Now what’s the answer..

The answer is political payback.  And what does that tell you..  2 things.  It tells you that Marco Rubio is both an honest person who pays his debts, political or otherwise, but also one who is willing to distort the truth if need be, in the payment of that debt. Because Romney is far from being a conservative. Romney attacked Reagan and supported GHW Bush in the 1980 election, and many years after.. which does not bode well with Tea Party Conservatives. On top of the fact that it was the Reagan Conservative Tea Party folks who voted for, and thus, put Marco Rubio in the Florida US Senate seat, over Charlie Crist..  not the Republican Party RINO elitists of Romney and company. We view this sort of twisting and distorting of the truth, as standard political double backing betrayal and dishonesty, repugnantly repulsive..

It’s a shame that people who were given their place in power by the Reagan Conservative Tea Party folks, are now being stabbed in the back by the very same people who benefited from us, like Nikki Haley and Marco Rubio.

This is why I, and millions of other Tea Party Patriots, never trust the person in politics, but the values and principles of Constitutional Conservatism, and when they violate these principles, we hold the accountable for it.

Politicians and their betrayal of lies, are not the subject of adornment, as I and the millions of Tea Party folks, will forever hold them and their feet, to the fire of the US Constitution, and ensure they are responsive to, and accountable to, We the People.

Why The Liberal Media Acts The Way They Do

This is a synopsis of the reasons of why the liberal media speaks, acts, and behaves the way they do, as an example of what they tried to do to Newt, and to any and all others, they do not like, disapprove of, hate, disdain, and otherwise have nothing but utter contempt, and absolutely no tolerance for.

Besides Newt's replied response to CNN John King's insultive question, which Newt proceeded to obliterate John King and his liberal media colleagues and profession on National TV for even bringing it up, that was asked with the intent to derail Newt's campaign progress and surge, by trying to humiliate Newt at the SC debate last night, here's another example- This is a segment from a Fox News article today, 20 Jan,2011, titled-  "From Gingrich to Romney to Tebow -- Why is the media so out of touch with America?  by Liz Peek

quote-

"In the New York Times last weekend, this irritation was on full display. Columnist Maureen Dowd, makes fun of the young Romney’s affection for “The Sound of Music” (what is it about that musical that so annoys the left?) and disregard for The Grateful Dead.

She describes him as living in a “non-drinking, nonsmoking, suburban, uxorious bubble with Ann, revolving around Mormon rituals, Mormon couples, and the Mormon credo of strong, heterosexual, traditional families.” (In case you wondered, that’s meant to be a criticism.) “Uxorious” means having an excessive fondness for one’s wife – something that Ms. Dowd finds unacceptable."

unquote-

The reasons why the liberal media speaks and behaves the way they do is easy to understand, because they are the imbedded seeds of their indoctrination..  In other words, they have to justify their existence and acceptance to their view of life, and the ideology by which they see and interpret society and the world.. Which is of course a falsehood, a delusional lie, not reality..  So they have to manipulate, skew, distort, slant, twist, and coerce the American public into believing what they say is the right way, and not what the real Truth is.. which is Good is Good, Bad is Bad, Wrong is Wrong, Right is Right, and so on.. And no amount of liberal propagandist lies can change the facts and the Truth in reality, of human beings living in a free and Democratic society, for which the liberals detest, and have nothing but contempt for.

This is why they attack religion, specifically and especially, or pretty much only Christianity of any denomination, as they see that religion provides these guiding virtues, and is the core of conservative and constitutional values and principles, which is why they hate and attack religion that provides and supports those values and principles in civilized society of and in, everyday life.

This is why the liberal media, is not only a propaganda tool for their liberal agenda, but are insidious and subversive in intention, and parasitically cancerous, caustic, and toxic to independent individual thought in civilized society.

If one were to watch Jimmy Stewarts "It's a wonderful Life", one would say, that what and where, we want to live in..  A place where goodness, charity, kindness, and hope is the rule, not the exception.. But Liberals want the story to end with Pottersville and Potter winning in the end, instead of the people and community of Bedford Falls and the old local Bailey Savings and Loan still standing.

To liberals, there is nothing more aggravating than happy conservative religious people and their communities, existing and living in their liberally intolerant and illogically insane world of despair and suffering..  And why, so they can control it, the environment, situation, circumstances, thus the people, via govt dependency and laws, to maintain their hold on power.

That's a sad and pathetic look into their sad and pathetic souls and minds.. I truly pity them..

Free Market Capitalism is the Vehicle and Core Element of Democracy, Freedom, and Liberty

There is an article in the web site ConservativeByte.com, which asks the question-  "Did the Founding Fathers support Free Market Capitalism"

My Answer-

Of course the Founding Father's supported Free Market Capitalism.  Free Market Capitalism is incontrovertibly intertwined with American Democracy, Liberty, and Freedom.  Within the U.S. Constitution, is very heart, soul, and core of Freedom, Liberty, and Democracy, as it is tied directly with an individual's right to choose, which is in itself, Freedom and Liberty, which thus gives power directly into the hands of the people, via their Freedom to choose..

This is the core element in a Democracy, the individual right to choose, by which the Free Market Capitalist system embodies, represents, in the Law of Supply and Demand, that is the vehicle and intertwined element of Freedom and Democracy...

This is also why liberals want massive govt control over the people, to dictate to them, what their choices are and will be, thus removing their power..

Capitalism is all about empowering the people, thus Democracy, Freedom, Liberty, Equal Rights, and a govt. "Of the People, By the People, For the People", is directly linked to Free Market Capitalism.

Dr. of Economics, Milton Friedman in his book- "Capitalism and Freedom", explains it in complete detail, but the book itself is not the reason why it is so..  It is so, because it's true.

Where do the roots of economic and social prosperity come from..   They come from a free market economy..  That's what happened, as told to us all throughout world history, that people, when allowed to engage in entrepreneurial free enterprise of a free market capitalist system, they create wealth, and thus become economically and socially middle class, or even upper wealthy..

This empowers the people by being Independent, which is something the liberals do not want, and discourages in every govt aspect and form possible, because independence from govt, means the demise of liberals and Democrats. This is their whole premise of being and existence, govt control over the people, via dependency, which is why they will not give up entitlements. If they did, their whole base would not support them, and they would  cease to exist as a political party force. Which is a good thing, in my opinion.

The very meaning of the word Capital and Capitalism, means to create /produce and keep your own property / wealth, of and from your own making. Creating economic and social prosperity for all, creating a middle class, and a happy, or happier, society of people.

This goes directly to what Speaker Newt Gingrich was telling the debate audience last night in SC, when he answered Juan Williams question about race, and govt entitlement dependency..  which was meant to try to embarrass and humiliate Newt. but which didn't work, as so obviously noted.

Self-reliance and Independence empowers people, and if there is one thing liberals do not want, is for people, especially minority people, to be self-reliant, independent, and empowered, and equally with thought.. This would inevitably guide people, of their own accord, away from the liberal democratic party, thus they will lose their political power base, thus their power, thus their money.

Newt is Exactly Right

Newt is exactly right..

Learning when you are young, good work habits and work ethics, besides the value of earning your own money, from your own efforts, teaches responsibility and builds character, of which young people need to grow up with, to turn into productive members of society, and not end up as a high school drop out, or on welfare and foodstamps, or even in prison from criminal activity, like gang violence and or drug use, etc..  of which is what liberals want and advocate.. and why, because liberals want minorities in America, to be so accustomed to, and addicted to govt. handouts, aka, entitlements, like welfare and foodstamps, so they always count on them to be politically reliable votes, is, and should be seen by minorities, as an absolute outrage and insult, as an assault on their character as a people, and their individual abilities to be self-reliant, self-sufficient, and independent.

Self-reliance and Independence empowers people, and if there is one thing liberals do not want, is for people, especially minority people, to be self-reliant, independent, and empowered, and equally with thought..

This would inevitably guide people, of their own accord, away from the liberal democratic party, thus they will lose their political power base, thus their power, thus their money…

This why they will do anything they can to stop the people, specifically the minority folks, from becoming self-reliant and independent from govt. This is their whole premise and point of being and existence, and thus explains their behavior, aka, political motives, of all of their actions and words, of constant attacks against Reagan Conservative Republicans, like Newt. As well as their behind the scenes support for Romney.

Like it or not, that is the Truth, and the sooner the Free Independent people in the minority communities realize that self-reliance, and along with it, self-esteem, confidence, pride and independence, is better than govt hand outs, the sooner they will be free of govt. dependency, and liberals.

Newt is clearly up against the liberal Republican Party establishment apparatus, which includes Fox News, but one in which Newt can aptly and ably handle. What else is new, as Reagan had to deal with the same crony Republican Party RINO apparatus and people.

The problem is always the same thing, as the political agenda of Obama left, or the RINO right, always tries to get in the way of the Truth.

That’s what they have in common against Newt, and the Tea Party Reagan conservatives, which is why the Republican Party apparatus, can easily justify colluding with the far left, so they can ensure the reins of power and control, stay in liberal hands, of either party.

This is why Newt resonates with real Reagan Conservatives, aka, the People, and not the liberal Republican Party RINO establishment of Boehner, McConnell, Cantor, and Romney.

The Bain argument of Capitalist Legitimacy

There is an article in the American Thinker, called " The attacks on Bain", by Steve McCann, where the he discusses Bain Capital, and the legitimate debate about Romney's former company, Bain Capital, and it's role in free market capitalism, being good and necessary.

Quote- "Capitalism is a very successful economic theory; its execution is the issue that has dogged mankind for centuries.   The birth of Marxism and socialism in the nineteenth century came about because of the exploitation of the workers who in many cases were forced to work 60 hours a week for low wages in unsafe conditions."  "Yet that was pure capitalism at work." - unquote.

First point is, pure capitalism at work, as quoted by this article, is not what capitalism is all about. Real Capitalists, do not exploit labor workers, in a slave labor environment, for massive profits and rewards. to enrich themselves with.  Yes, they whole idea of Capitalism is to make a profit, for everyone, but not at the expense of the laborers, aka the workers, in a slave labor environment.. All that type of greedy vulture capitalism did, and still does, is to create social disparity, inequality, inequity, and resentment, within the mass populace of working people. This is also where the advent of the Unions came in,  and where the Socialist Marxists, co-opted them, and used them, or as Karl Marx called them, his "useful idiots".. which they used for their political base and platform, of "workers unite".. or as they say, "comrades unite"..

That is why, the govt had to put massive new regulations on companies and business practices, into U.S. Federal law, in the 1930's and 40's, especially after the great depression, to make the playing field more equal for the workers, and in effect, to protect the individual worker, so they can have and make a fair wage, with and under safe working conditions, to work with and live on, and support their families.

Industrialists, like JP Morgan, Vanderbuilt, Ford, J D Rockefeller, and so on, created massive profit and wealth for themselves, and helped advance the US Industrial age, and helped make America economically competitive, and best in the world, but they did it on the backs of the workers, and in not pursuing and ensuring their workers were treated fairly, with fair wages and working conditions,  all of that contributed to political social unrest and upheavel, that was to come.

All though I understand where and why they see the Bain Capital's of the world, as providing a purely capitalist ingredient into the free market capitalist system, in their explanation.. but it is incorrect to see this kind of vulture capitalist workings, as actually good and necessary..  They equate this type of company chop shop, selling off of assets, to reap massive profits and rewards to their investors, and or stock holders, to the pure capitalist nature theory of only the strongest survive, and the weakest are devoured..  which may be true in a sense, but one in which the capitalist system and forces, of the law of supply and demand dictates, between the consumer customer, and the business provider, and not from outside entities, like Bain Capital. That is not capitalism as it should be, and is supposed to be.. We create the system and situation, thus we can control it, and shape it to a balanced system with rules for a fair competitive economic capitalist environmental playing field.

The Romney Bain Issue Matters

Ronald Reagan did not mean LBO’s, Bailouts, Buyouts, and Crony Capitalism, when he implemented his pro-capitalist economic recovery policies, so that American wall street firms, and corporate businesses, can practice corporate raiding, insider trading, and other such profitable enhancement and enrichment practices, at the expense of healthy/profitable business companies, the working employees, their pensions, their families, and their communities. In other words, just because Romney and Bain Capital, could legally destroy healthy profitable business companies, let alone unhealthy business companies, jobs, people’s pensions, families lives, and their communities, does not mean it is good and right.

If a company fails on it’s own through bad business practices, and declares bankruptcy, then so be it, that’s the free market system.. But when a company like Bain Capital and Romney, comes in, and buys out the company, that is business healthy, and supporting working families and communities, then carves it up for sale to the highest bidder, making hundreds of millions of dollars at the company and workers expense, thus destroying those people pensions, communities, and lives, then that is NOT Free Market Capitalism, like Rick Perry said, that’s "vulture capitalism"..   It’s wrong, and should be illegal, as far as I’m concerned.

That’s why Romney is the real life Gordon Gekko, the epitome of corporate greed. He must be vetted on it, and should and must be accountable for..

But this is not merely about legal or illegal corporate practices, more so than it is about Romney’s core values of Morality, Integrity, and Ethics, thus is about Romney’s personal character, especially if he wants to be the U.S. President.

So the Romney Bain issue matters, as it is all about who we really want to be at America’s helm, as the next U.S. President. Someone who exemplifies Reagan's courage, morality, integrity, and ethics,  ie; Conservative Values and Principles, or cronyism, false conservatism, and no personal character qualities of worth..

Romney's Direct Personal Crony Capitalist Corporate Corruption and Greed Revealed

Here is the real Mitt Romney, whose exposure in these video trailers, as well as the release of a full length expose, which the trailers will used by Newt's superPAC, with his stunning campaign Ad, as well as this article and more, linking Romney directly to, thus exposing, his crony capitalism, corporate corruption and greed, and  blatant hypocrisy, as the CEO of "Bain"..

Mitt Romney was the real life Gordon Gecko. Specialized corporate corruption, cronyism, and greed.

"New Anti-Romney Video Attacks Bain Capital Work"
by Peter J. Boyer Jan 6, 2012 9:39 PM

An ex-Romney adviser is unleashing a half-hour attack video blasting Mitt’s work at Bain Capital.

quote-

"The effort to derail Mitt Romney’s presidential quest heightened dramatically on Friday when a super PAC associated with Newt Gingrich outbid all comers for the rights to a scathing 30-minute attack video depicting Romney as a greedy, job-killing corporate raider “more ruthless than Wall Street.”

In a season filled with negative ads and rhetorical crossfire, the striking feature of the film, aside from its mini-documentary length, is its authorship. The film was made by Jason Killian Meath, a former associate of Romney’s top strategists, Stuart Stevens and Russ Schriefer. Meath had worked for the Romney campaign in 2008, creating much of the ad content for that failed effort. He left Stevens and Schriefer’s firm, SSG, in 2010. Meath declined to comment on his project, referring inquiries to the pro-Gingrich PAC Winning Our Future.

“We’re going to release a short, 27-minute film that is well-documented, and tells the real story of Mitt Romney at Bain Capital—and it’s not a pretty story,” says Rick Tyler, an adviser to the Gingrich-supporting PAC."

The video, called When Mitt Romney Came to Town, is a slick production focusing on Romney’s tenure as CEO of Bain Capital, a private investment firm.

The movie begins with a cinematic tableau of Americana, as the narrator intones, “Capitalism made America great. Free markets. Innovation. Hard work. The building blocks of the American dream. But in the wrong hands, some of those dreams can turn into nightmares.”

A shot of an American flag, waving in the breeze is replaced by gathering storm clouds, as the narrator continues: “Wall Street’s corporate raiders made billions of dollars. Their greed was matched only by their willingness to do anything to make millions in profits … nothing spared. Nothing mattered but profits. This film is about one such raider and his firm.”

At that point, a black-and-white photograph of Romney appears on the screen, as the narrator alleges that “Romney took foreign seed money from Latin America” to exploit “dozens of American businesses” and the “thousands of employees that worked there.”

“A story of greed,” the narrator intones. “Playing the system for a quick buck. A group of corporate raiders, led by Mitt Romney. More ruthless than Wall Street. For tens of thousands of Americans, the suffering began when Mitt Romney came to town.”

According to four sources familiar with the project, the film was commissioned by Barry Bennett, a conservative activist who was once chief of staff for Ohio Republican Congresswoman Jean Schmidt. Bennett is now at the Alliance for America’s Future, a Virginia-based group whose principals include Mary Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney. (Bennett declined a request for comment).

When Mitt Romney Came to Town focuses on four case studies of Bain’s acquisitions—a Florida-based company called UniMac, which produced commercial laundry equipment; KayBee Toys; the electronics company DDI; and AmPad, an Indiana-based office-supply producer. The key result of these transactions, the film asserts, was “spectacular returns” for Bain through “stripping American businesses of assets, selling everything to the highest bidder, and often killing jobs for big financial rewards.”

The Romney team responded Saturday. “It is sad when any American loses their job,” said spokesperson Andrea Saul. “Under President Obama, 25 million Americans are out of work, underemployed or have stopped looking for work. It’s puzzling to see Speaker Gingrich and his supporters continue their attacks on free enterprise. This is the type of criticism we've come to expect from President Obama and his left-wing allies at Moveon.org. Unlike President Obama and Speaker Gingrich, Mitt Romney spent his career in business and knows what it will take to turn around our nation’s bad economy.”

Bennett began to pitch the film to people associated with Romney’s competitors several weeks ago, according to the sources, but potential buyers at first shied away from the project.

That changed this week, when Romney won the Iowa caucuses. The film suddenly had several interested suitors—including a super Pac connected to former Utah governor Jon Huntsman, according to the sources. Members of the pro-Huntsman group apparently believed they had acquired the film on Friday morning, but found themselves outbid by Winning Our Future.

While the film itself tells a pointedly polemical tale of corporate greed, the story behind the film has undertones of bad blood, and even vendetta.

Though Huntsman, like Romney, is a Mormon known for his mild public manner, there is said to be a considerable measure of enmity between the two candidates. Huntsman has staked everything on New Hampshire, where Romney is expected to gain an easy victory in Tuesday’s primary. Huntsman’s campaign, noting that super PACs operate independently of the candidate’s operations, disclaimed any knowledge of the film, or possible interest in it on the part of the Huntsman-associated PAC.

For Gingrich’s supporters, the acquisition of the anti-Romney film was a chance to strike back at the man they—and Gingrich himself—hold responsible for Gingrich’s precipitous slide in the polls in the days and weeks before the Iowa caucus. Gingrich has not been circumspect in expressing his disdain for those responsible for the barrage of negative advertising directed toward him in Iowa—by one estimate, nearly half of all attack ads were aimed at Gingrich—or about the fact that he blames Romney.

The filmmaker, Jason Killian Meath, is an award-winning director who worked on Romney political ads in Romney’s run against John McCain in 2004. When Romney retained the services of SSG for his current presidential bid, Meath was not part of the team. Meath declined to comment on the film, or upon his motives in making it.

There was also an element of redemption in the Gingrich-related super PAC’s acquisition of the film. A key figure at Winning Our Future is Tyler, a longtime Gingrich associate, and a personal friend, who had been a central part of Gingrich’s original campaign team last spring. When much of that team abruptly left the campaign in June, Tyler was among the defectors—a fact that he later came to regret.

“We’re going to release a short, 27-minute film that is well-documented, and tells the real story of Mitt Romney at Bain Capital—and it’s not a pretty story,” says Rick Tyler, adviser to a pro-Gingrich PAC."

Romney’s candidacy, and the sense of inevitability attending it, has rankled some conservatives within the Republican Party from the start of the presidential-candidates race. Those familiar with the film hope that it will strike at the heart of what they see as Romney’s chief vulnerability—the image of a privileged creature of capital, distanced from, and indifferent to, the travails of ordinary Americans.

A central theme of Romney’s campaign has been his ability to create jobs in the private sector, having done so by aiding the startup of such companies as Staples, the office-supply giant that Bain helped to bring into being.

A Winning Our Future representative said that the PAC has not yet decided how to use the film, though it is expected to be widely distributed through the news media, now congregated in New Hampshire, as early as this weekend. Saturday morning, they launched a website, called kingofbain.com, featuring a two-minute trailer from the video."

Unquote-

Mitt Romney's self-righteous indignant self piety, and blatant hypocrisy, as Newt so poignantly stated, would be laughable, if it weren't so pathetic and repugnant, and especially with the U.S. Presidency, and the future of America at stake, it is even that much more repulsive.

Mitt Romney is exactly like Obama.. In fact, both Obama and Mitt Romney, are the Antithesis of Ronald Reagan and Reaganism.  To emphatically state and emphasize-  Barrack Obama and Mitt Romney, are the complete and utter absolute opposite of everything U.S. President Ronald Reagan stands for, and ever stood for, ie; Free Market Enterprise system of Capitalism, Limited / less govt. over the people of the land, Individual Freedom, Liberty,  Equality, Constitutional Conservative Principles, Values, and Traditions, Respect and Adherence to the U.S. Constitution and it's prescribed Laws of the Land,  and it's Rights, Freedoms and Liberties, that it guarantees all American citizens !

Romney mine as well as call himself Obama, and change his political party affiliation to liberal Obamacrat, as he is exactly like Obama in his progressive liberal socialist policy implementation and agenda.

Iowa Caucus, Conservatives, and Republicans

Note to Iowans-

If you decide to elect Romney, a liberal moderate mush Republican RINO Obama-lite elitist.. then you mine as well just vote for Obama, as they are exactly the same in their implementation of policies and programs, and their lying political propaganda about all of it, as they just represent opposite political party's, but everything else is the same.. Mass. the State of Liberalism, the State of Ted Kennedy, the State of Barney Franks, and the State of Mitt Romney, and you want to elect the Gov. from there..  especially this slick willie lying 2 faced hypocrite forced mandated State Socialized Medicine Romneycare loving Gov..

As a Ronald Reagan constitutional tea part conservative. that would be absolutely appalling.  Need I say more..

As far as Ron Paul is concerned, Domestically, he is a staunch constitutional conservative, yes we give him that.. but International Foreign Policy wise, he is the American Neville Chamberlain, and is a delusional libertarian nutjob, who couldn't see the conservative common sense logic reason and sanity forest, for the trees, when it comes to appeasing terrorists, rogue fascist dictators, and alike, in this nuclear WMD age, if his delusional dogmatic libertarian ideology life depended on it..
If history is to teach us anything, it is to learn from it..  thus, Ron Paul should never be allowed to be the US President, period.!!

So, where does that leave Newt..  on the Reagan Conservative Republican platform ticket, which Tea Party folks support, as the best alternative to Romney's liberal cronyism, and Ron Paul's delusional whacked appeasement, demilitarist, non-interventionist foreign policies, that's where..

Newt is the only real Reagan Conservative Republican, that can  beat Obama, and restore America back to prosperity and preeminence at home and abroad..  ie;  secure U.S. National Security, as well as peace and safety in the world, once again..  The choice is yours..
